For action sports enthusiasts
GoPro is an iconic action camera brand, known for its cameras and accessories that capture intense, immersive moments in motion. GoPro’s cameras and gear offer the perfect solution for extreme sports lovers and adventurers who want to share their experiences out in the field. If you’re looking to film your scooter adventures, these products are made for you.

The Athlete's Camera
The mission of GoPro is to enable everyone to capture and share their life in an immersive and creative way. Founded in 2002 by American entrepreneur Nick Woodman, the brand is committed to constant innovation to deliver high-quality products that transform how people record and share their passions. On skis, on a motorcycle, surfing or freestyle scootering, the brand has become every rider’s best friend, regardless of their sport, skill level, or filming goal. These cameras and accessories are a reliable choice for athletes who want to capture their feats.
How to Film Your Surf Session ?
Nick Woodman, creator of GoPro, was above all a surf enthusiast who wanted to capture footage of his tricks. During a trip to Australia, he realized the lack of affordable solutions to film his sessions up close. He then decided to create a portable and durable camera.
To fund the project, Woodman sold beaded and shell belts from his Volkswagen van and received financial help from his family.
In 2004, GoPro launched its first camera, the HERO 35 mm. Twenty years later, after years of innovation, GoPro has sold over 50 million cameras and in 2024 launched the HERO13 Black, featuring new technologies such as HDR HLG video and interchangeable lenses.
The GoPro Awards
GoPro created the "GoPro Awards" program to challenge and reward creators of sports content (both photos and videos). Winners get a chance to be featured on the brand’s official platforms.
Each year, selected participants can receive financial rewards, with doubled payouts for GoPro subscribers. The brand has collaborated with many athletes and influencers to develop special editions and accessories tailored to various sports, furthering its commitment to the adventure-loving community and sports content creators.
Inside the GoPro Community
Among the inspiring athletes in the GoPro community is Ema Kawakami, a 9-year-old Japanese skateboarder who won the Japanese Skateboarding Federation’s vertical contest in 2023 and set the Guinness World Record for the most backside 540s in one minute (eight). Also notable is Vero Sandler, a rider from New Zealand who made history by participating in the first women’s event at Red Bull Rampage in 2024 as a GoPro freeride MTB athlete, using the HERO13 Black with the Ultra Wide lens to capture her runs.
